Police and Fire Committee Meeting

Attendance: Bill Puthoff, John Ranz, Chief Korte, Chief Cruse and George Synder
I. Police
1) Driving with Angels Program – Committee recommends that the Village participate in the Driving with Angel’s program. No cost to the Village.
2) Fund Allocation for Breaching Tools- – Recommend that we take money from law Enforcement Fund for breaching tools- approx. $2600.
4) Prostitution arrest at Hollywood Hotel.
5) 4th homicide suspect located.
6) Prescription Drug turn-in program to be in front of municipal building.
II. Fire
1)Final updated Evendale Fire Prevention Code- an ordinance will be on the October 14th agenda.
2) Went to Sutphen and Ferrara Mfg. to look at new fire truck. Will be deciding shortly on whether or not we will purchase, and which truck.
III. Other Items
1) Received budget books and discussed budget notes.
